HBO GO on Roku

With both Roku and HBO
GO supporting multiple screens, the combination has become a family favorite.
However, it has been a little tough for people to access their HBO account from
Roku. So, here is how you do it. You will have two things for this.
- A functioning Roku account.
- A functioning HBO GO account.
If you have them both,
you can easily follow the instructions and add the channel HBO to your Roku

Firstly, search for
HBO in the Roku channel list. If you don’t want to search, please go to the
“Most Popular”. Once you get the search list, locate HBO, and add it to your
channel list. Once you download it, please open it in your Roku connected TV.
You will be given a code to activate the channel. Please enter the code, and
activate it in your Roku.
Note down the same
code, for it will be useful in future. Visit HBO GO account in your account.
Under the section Activate device, select Roku. Please press continue to
proceed. Your TV make is essential, and HBO GO asks for that. You can select
the model from the given list, or choose your own.
Enter here the code
that you noted down. You must do this quite nimbly, because the code does have
a shorted expiration period. Once you enter the code, you will have to click on
activate the device.
Once you get the
success message, sign in to your HBO GO. Watch your HBO watch list get updated!
